Dear Sportfriends Families,

Firstly, I hope you're all well and enjoyed a fantastic July 4th weekend.

We are looking forward to entering the next phase of our return-to-play, now allowing full-training and competition starting today, July 6th, in line with Governor Murphy’s Executive Order #149, which details the process to resume organized youth sports. This permits traditional practices and competitions on the field while maintaining physical (social) distancing practices off the field.

With the health and safety of our membership as a guiding priority, we continue to implement all aspects of our health and safety processes and protocols. As a reminder to parents and players, if you are not comfortable or ready to return to play, don’t. We want to make sure everybody is comfortable moving into the next phase of the roadmap. I've noted below some important reminders:

- Begins today, Monday July 6th 2020.

- Contact training is permitted.

- Wellness checks before leaving home for training or games should remain common practice. No participant should come to train if they feel unwell.

- Continued no sharing of water or any personal hygiene equipment.

- Participants continue to strive to remain 6 feet apart off the field.

- Participants are encouraged to have hand sanitizer in their belongings at all times.

- Participants should still wear a face covering entering and leaving the facility.

- Designated areas for participants' personal equipment.

- Spectators are permitted all games with proper social and physical distancing, and face coverings are required at all times. At risk individuals should still take precautions. 

- Some facilities may prohibit spectators, and in which case, we ask you to respect those conditions placed upon us.

Coaches are to wear masks during training sessions.
